Youth SPRINGFEST is Saturday Night - April 28th!!!

Attention all Tweens & Teens...come to the Youth SpringFest on Saturday, April 28th from 6-11pm. Cost is only $8 at the door. Come hear 15 different Bands from all over playing Acoustic, Rock & Hip-Hop on three different stages! Some of the groups playing:

Bike Blessing Meeting for Volunteers - Saturday, April 14th

If you signed up to help with the Bike Blessing event, please be at the Church @ 6:30 pm. The meeting will start in the Prayer Room and after a brief overview of the event schedule, volunteers will break into groups with their team leaders.

Team leaders will meet at 6pm to go over any last minute changes before the volunteers arrive for the meeting. ACC appreciates all of you who signed up to help with the event.

ACC's Anniversary Celebration - April 15th

Happy Anniversary City Church!!!

This fun evening will kick off with a potluck starting at 5pm, as we then continue to celebrate the anniversary of City Church, Elder Transition and the integration of City Church & New Direction.

From this Sunday forth, we will be having our monthly potluck gatherings on Sundays instead of Tuesdays. If you are coming to the potluck, please bring meat for grilling up (enough for your family) and a side dish or dessert to share.

Women's Ministries Presents...4 Women for 1 Fun Night!

Women of all ages...come have fun for a night!!!

Women are encouraged to sign up to go out with three other ladies to either watch a movie, go out to dinner, have a fireside chat with dessert, or do whatever! If you would like to be a group leader, please let us know.

A group leader will call three other women and decide the activity for the evening. The fun night can take place anytime during the week of April 16th - 21st. Sign-up at the information counter, or call the church office at 344-2141.

Beacon Class - "A Biblical Approach to the Wounded Human Spirit"

This month's Beacon Class will allow students to examine reasons why a person's spirit becomes wounded and explore ways of how God restores the spirit.

The Class sessions are:

April 19th - 6:30 am - 9:30pm

April 20th - 6:30 am- 9:30pm

April 21st - 8:30 am - 12:30pm

South Sudan Missions Benefit Talent Concert - April 20th!

The King's Kids will be holding a talent show to benefit missions in South Sudan on Friday, April 20th at 7pm in the ACC Auditorium. Come see what the King's Kids have learned throughout the year and see them show off their individual talents.

Admission is free and there will be light refreshments and punch. A love offering will be taken to benefit Melissa McKinney and the work that she is doing in Sudan with children and training indigenous Pastors.

"SpringFest" Youth Music Outreach is April 28th from 6pm - 11pm

Teens and Tweens are invited to come to "SpringFest" at ACC! Hear 15 different bands from all over playing a variety of music on three different stages. Hear acoustic, hip-hop, rock, punk and other types of christian music. There will be something for every taste!

Cost is only $8 at the door and there will be plenty of adult chaperones on hand. This is a great opportunity to invite some friends so they can hear about the goodness of God through the types of music they love. For more information, please call Pastor Shane at 344-2141.

"The Gathering" Bike Blessing Event is Saturday, April 28th

Everyone is encouraged to come out from 10am to 1pm to see close to 800 bikes, trikes and hogs at ACC's annual Bike Blessing! Come see Arctic Attack
Motorcycle Stunt Team as they WOW the crowd with their
thrilling stunts and tricks! Hear a live band from proclamations from the Lt. Governor and Mayor as they help kick start May as Motorcycle Awareness Month. Join in on the motorcycle trivia games for your chance to win awesome prizes!
At noon, witness the Vietnam Veteran's group "Rolling Thunder" parade in formation to the church as they exhibit their patriotic duty of honor as they post the colors on the stage.



There will be food and specialty coffee available for purchase from local vendors (regular coffee will be available at no cost). Commemorative patches and t-shirts will be available for purchase inside the lobby of the church. We will also be directing people driving cars to park at a church located on 100th & Victor, which is just few blocks down 100th from ACC.
