The Gathering Event

Come celebrate Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month at “The Gathering”, Saturday May 3rd at the Park Strip in downtown Anchorage. Bikers can meet at 10am here at City Church to line up for a parade through town as they head to the Park Strip. Registration will take place in front of City Church and all riders who participate in the parade must be registered and sign a waiver.
While down at the Park Strip, see Veterans group “Rolling Thunder” and Governor Palin will read her proclamation declaring the beginning of the motorcycle riding season, and officials from the Mayor's office will be on hand to read the Mayoral proclamation! We will also be selling Bike Blessing T-shirts for $15 and patches for $8 down at the strip.This event is sponsored by ABATE of Alaska and the AMCDA groups House of Harley Davidson, The Motorcycle Shop, Anchorage Yamaha, Alaska Cycle Center and Anchorage Suzuki Shop. After the Gathering, make sure to head to the House of Harley Davidson on Spenard Road for their open house.
